I'm not going to lie, this was an emotional session. This young lady, whom I've known since she was a teenager, is going to be a mother! To have been a part of her quinceañera; see her get married and develop her love for animals into a business has been a such a joy. So when I scheduled a trip to my beautiful island of enchantment, I could not pass the opportunity to capture some portraits of Ericka and Abner during this very special time in their lives. Such a blessing.
We headed to Luis Muñoz Rivera park, located at the eastern end of Old San Juan. This park is is a perfect combination of a park, arboretum, botanical garden, art gallery, architectural display, and historical museum. Lastly, we headed to El Morro Fort, to watch the sunset and get some wind action on her beautiful hair and dress. I hope you enjoy the photos of the beaming parents-to-be as well as well as the gorgeous landscape that Puerto Rico has to offer.
The Flamboyan tree and it's orange flowers make for a gorgeous foreground.
Old San Juan is a dream! So much history and gorgeous architecture.
